Wow how time flies! It was a little over a year ago already since my mom was still going through cancer treatments. And now she’s been cancer free for close to a year now. Thank You Lord!
I seriously cannot believe how fast time is flying though, currently my senior year, filled with schoolwork, open houses, ACT tests, ect. is almost gone. Graduating the 12th of June 2010. Just when you think you have plenty of time, YOU don’t!
Alll mixed in with finishing up my senior year, is helping on tech at 707 (www.sevenoseven.com), baby-sitting, hanging with friends, and much more.
Lot’s of changes have happened in the past year, and I can see God moving in each and every one of them! “Lost” a “friend” that was never really a good friend (though she says she was) And man I just feel a burden lifted. And God keeps confirming my decision with me.
Reminded of the song Garbage In by Tal & Acacia – That what goes in you will surely show, it’s going to show. Garbage in, garbage out, what goes in is found out, All can see what goes in me I pay the price. – Whatever you fill your mind with will come out, and people will see. There’s no way of hiding it, cause your attitude matches that.
Oh btw, new t-shirts are out. You can join my Facebook group to stay updated on ESP’s Christian Designs! (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=logo#/group.php?gid=34889421598)
Anyways, enough updating for know, I’ll try to post more often again.
God bless!

Praising Him In This Storm
I’ll praise You in this storm/And I will lift my hands/For You are who You are/No matter where I am/Every tear I’ve cried/You hold in Your hand/You never left my side/And though my heart is torn/I will praise You in this storm
Praise You In This Storm – Casting Crowns
The past couple of months have really hit me and my family hard. Found out that my mom has breast cancer, dealing with multiple sugeries, doctor’s appointments, and all the stuff involved in it. Remembering to praise God in the midst of struggles can be a hard thing, but you have to find joy in those times.
I’m really praising God right now, as they got all the cancer out, even though there’s still a long road ahead for my mom with all the chemo and radiation treatments that are coming. But just remembering to praise Him in the midst of it, can make a HUGE differance!
Breast cancer is a really emotional time, that I never realized before my mom got it. Now I’m starting to get involved in walks and that kinda thing to raise awareness. I’m getting Pink Ribbon products, and noticing stuff about breast cancer.
God bless you all, and remember to praise God through all the struggles! He’ll never let you down!

A little about my life….
Ahhhh life, so let’s see. My name is Elizabeth and I’m 15. I live in Ohio with my parents and brother. I attend Lighthouse Alliance Church: Lighthouse is a church of the CAMA (Christian and Missionary Alliance). I enjoy playing tennis, listening to music, and praising my Savior, Jesus Christ.
I play FPS (First Person Shooters) computer games, and I am a member of -]DES[- a Christian clan.
I also enjoy writing blogs, and talking with my friends, either on Xfire or through e-mails, or phone. I love my family, and I like to spend time with them!
Well that’s some about my life….

Sweet concert!
Well I went to the Casting Crowns concert last night with my friend. I was’nt going to go at first, but she had an extra ticket so I got to go! Well we drove to the Wolstein Center, and found a parking place for free! We got in, and bought a couple things before sitting down, and then when the concert started! John Waller opened out the evening. His music was great! After he got off, Leeland sang a couple songs. And when Casting Crowns got on, it was so good! I had such a great time! For the first concert I went to I loved it! Well I’m still a bit hoarse this morning but not as bad as I thought I would with all the screaming and cheering! But off to finish getting ready for church!

Seven Sweet Lies (You might already believe)
Are you sitting down? Okay, good! Let’s get started.
Lie #1: “Love is all you need”
1 needy person + 1 needy person = 1 complete person.
Human love is the answer to all my needs.
The Truth: 1 needy person + 1 needy person = 2 needy people.
God’s love is the answer to all your problems. Eph. 2:4-10
Lie #2: “Can’t we all just get along?” “Just love me” “Don’t condem me”
The Truth: We can’t just get along. Gal. 6:1-5, John. 14:6
Lie #3: “Love yourself”
The Truth: You have no value in and in of yourself. Rom. 3:23-24, Rom. 5:6-8
Lie #4: “Believe in yourself”
The Truth: Believe in God, He can do it” Job 38:1-11
Lie #5: “Follow your heart”
The Truth: Your heart is evil. Jer. 17:9, Eph. 4:22-24
Follow your heart and die, follow Jesus and live.
Lie #6: “Be yourself”
The Truth: Luke 9:23-25
Lie #7: “It’s my life”
The Truth: It’s not your life. Exodus 4:11
These are from the notes I took during the “Seven Sweet Lies” lecture, by Brandon Booth. At Worldview Academy Leadership Camp, at Miami University, in Oxford, OH. June 24-29 2007.
